From logo and branding, illustration and graphics, website and digital applications to multimedia content, marketing campaigns, and fashion ensembles — I have paired my artistic tendencies with technical skills to express plans, implement solutions, and convey messages through storytelling and innovative technologies.
02 LOGO + BRANDING
To create a viable brand for businesses that exudes a solid identity and can bring forth a satisfying experience to consumers and value to stakeholders, one must bear an informed perception of the intended market, an in-depth understanding of the goals, and a sound sense of the story and core message.
With my international experience in shaping brands from diverse industries in Dubai, Singapore, the Philippines, and Canada, I have developed a multi-faceted approach to branding that blends my creative instincts and multimedia technical competency with my business acumen as a marketing professional.
03 MARKETING
Marketing is essentially storytelling but for business and commerce. And like any other story, no matter how beautiful, it would not make an impact if not passed along. Because at the end of the day, it’s undeniable that we navigate through modern trade flows where purchasing behavior not only depends on quality service and product functionality. But also the value of investing in the story, the goals it aims to achieve, and the solutions it provides to problems that affect us all.
Formed working with small businesses, e-commerce companies, and corporate enterprises with different turnaround times and chains of decision-makers in diverse vertical niches and intermediate trading industries, I always see marketing as an opportunity to learn by delving into new and exciting spaces. But also a constant challenge to myself in finding creative solutions that could speak to all intended consumer and stakeholder profiles — from Content Marketing and Search Engine Optimization to Social Media and Email Marketing.
04 MEDIA + FASHION
As a creator and a storyteller, I always feel the need to find mediums through which I could understand and express myself and the stories of others a bit better or uniquely. Pulling from admiring the physicality of filmmaking and theatre to the emotional immediacy of music and dance, and the intellectual stimulation in journalism and design, as well as the collaborative experience in events and digital spaces. It’s a continuous process of trial-and-error combining tried-and-true methodology with the latest technology and vice-versa.
However, there’s something about fashion beyond self-expression or mere aesthetics. Fashion is not only about finding refuge and comfort in clothing but also a form of defense mechanism, a tailored shield-and-armor, an accessible hiding spot, and a brief getaway during our less-desirable moments. I see fashion as a visualization of one’s mood, personality, a character portrayal, or a narration of a story that threads the seam between need vs. want and form vs. function — be that through fashion design and styling, creative direction, or simply my love for dressing-up.
